I’ve heard of good student ones, and if you pay a year in advance. Are there some for college grads? I asked the insurance company on the phone, they wouldn’t just tell me the discounts, it was as if I had to read their minds. I just want to know what things I can do to lower my cost of auto insurance. Thank you

We get a discount for multiple vehicles, multiple polices (we have our home insured by them too), good student, good driver.
Try going to their website and they should list the possible discounts there.
You can get a discount for numerous things, multi-car, auto and home, auto and life, good student, driver’s ed, occupational discounts, prior insurance, clean driving record, etc. It varies with insurance companies
If you combine the insurance with your home and mortgage, you may get a lesser amount. However, look for quotes online and compare these quotes. I once got a discount just mentioning that the car is always parked indoors. So, it is always good to compare and then decide.
You can get great rates if you are a good driver.
